Referred to this client by a near neighbour for whom we had already installed two systems for, Solar PV Battery Systems installed this attractive system which again benefitted from the multiple award winning Fronius and BYD Battery storage combination.
The old tired slate roof was removed by our roofing contractors and a GSE integration mounting system installed before the roof works were completed.
The same formula was applied at on the side and rear elevations of the property, integrating the solar modules seamlessly without detracting from the aesthetic look of the property.
Solar PV Battery Systems installed GSE Integrated solar mounting at this property in Bishops Castle, which also benefitted from a full re-roof of the main house as part of the scheme.
The Battery
The Fronius inverter and BYD Battery Box system was neatly tucked away in a bespoke built storm proof cupboard at the side of the property. Well ventillated with high and low air vents for cooling, the inverter and battery box sit adjacent to our customers incoming supply meter position.
A WiFi extandable mesh system was installed to secure access to the Fronius SolarWeb monitoring platform.
The BYD Battery Box and Fronius inverter neatly secured away from the elements, in a purpose-built cupboard enclosure at the rear of the property.
The Fronius SolarWeb monitoring platform supplied as part of this project (and with all our energy storage systems) enables clients to view in real-time how their system is performing and when to switch on loads to utilise their self-generated stored power more efficiently.
Off peak ‘time of use charging’ through the Fronius App enables customers to fully charge their batteries at a low electricity rate, particularly useful during the winter period of low generation months!
The dashboard version of the Fronius SolarWeb platform is packed full of monitoring features and advanced energy saving options.
