DOMESTIC SURVEY FEES

Survey fees were initially introduced by our company to ensure our highly skilled surveying team did not go out to site on just tentative or provisional enquires.

Many hours had been spent during the early days of our company going on free surveys to prospective clients, who were just interested in either learning more about Solar PV systems and the perspective cost of a system were not ready or in a position to buy.

Sadly, on other occasions clients wanted a survey merely to gain a price comparison on their already chosen provider. Recently due to exponential demand for our services and energy prices rocketing, now more than ever our surveying teams time is precious and can only be utilised on genuine enquiries. Most clients are more than happy to pay the fee, in order to secure an accurate and honest appraisal of what system would best suit their home or business. Prospective clients recommended to us by previous customers of Solar PV Battery Systems automatically qualify for a free survey. Survey fees are as follows.

Domestic survey £149.00 plus Vat@20%  

Our survey fee is refunded in full should you proceed to placing an order.

For clients at the starting point or provisional stages of developing a solar PV battery storage system and who require advice, our team utilises remote technology and devices such as google earth and other clever gadgets that can quickly give clients a very accurate assessment of what your roof can hold in terms of Kw capacity and likely cost* of a Solar PV system including battery storage.

Even if a roof mounted system is not possible at your home, we can still give you details of other options such as a ground mounted systems or alternative means of mounting structures. 

When you are ready to commit to the paid for survey, you will benefit from the following.

1, full in-depth analysis of your roof’s structural integrity, will your roof be strong enough to take the extra loading from the solar panels? (Leading to a full building regulations compliance certificate upon completion of installation for domestic systems).

2, Full electrical appraisal to determine a straightforward connection of your new PV system and that the property’s electrical installation meets current standards.                                         

3, CAD design photo plan depicting what your Solar panels will look like on your home once installed.

4, Comprehensive detailed quotation, comprising of system design, potential earnings and likely yields, in depth information of products specified. 

5, The benefits of having a paid for survey are, that you will be armed with a concise appraisal of your homes energy requirements for a solar PV system without any hard sell or obligation at the end – we do not sell PV systems on the day, nor do we employ salesman!
