Alongside this Eco-Ready Mix have streamlined production processes, and their offices benefitting from being heated by a Biomass boiler and a portion of the sites electricity generated by a wind turbine.

STRONG ETHOS IN RENEWABLES AND CARBON EMISSIONS
Despite these incredible steps to reduce their carbon footprint this was still not enough for Gary and his family, who as the name suggests ‘Eco Ready-Mix’ have a strong ethos in renewables and carbon emissions to maintain.
Solar PV Battery Systems were given a brief by Gary Billington to install as much solar power capacity as we could on the available ‘dust free’ roof spaces available at the site.
These were the main office building and mechanics workshop. Having already invested in a number of electric vehicles for his entire sales team (another remarkable commitment) Gary requested the integration of a 22 Kw EV (Electric vehicle) charging point located in the parking bay dedicated for visitors to his site.
The whole team at Eco Ready-Mix and Gary were an absolute pleasure to work with, and have quickly become valued customers to our ever increasing portfolio of existing clients. This is a company who definitely do what it says on the tin!
