Case Study: LLoyd’s Animal Feeds
Lloyds Animal Feeds, Moreton Mill site, Llynclis, Shropshire.
100 Kw split system
Lloyds Animal Feeds are one of the UK’s leading farm feed suppliers and distributors, with feed mills and distribution centres located in multiple locations throughout the UK.
Working with the Lloyds group for a number of years, we have developed and installed a broad range of schemes for the company including this 100 Kw system at their main distribution depot over at Moreton Mill, Llynclis, Shropshire.
SPLIT ARRAY SYSTEM
The split array situated on the roof of the sites main warehouse, contributes an even spread of power across the site from early morning until late evening.
We also developed two Ground mounted generation systems for the Lloyds group, a 200 Kw system at Ford in Shropshire and a 50 Kw system at the company’s other Stoke Heath pullet rearing site near Market Drayton.
Both sites were constructed using pile driven single post mounting systems and took just over 1 week to construct, other projects undertaken for the group include a 50 Kw rooftop array at Lloyds Crackley Bank poultry site, Staffordshire.
Solar PV Battery Systems have a wealth of knowledge and experience in the deployment of Solar PV generators, across a broad spectrum of applications and unique settings – particularly poultry sites where we understand totally the environment that we are working in.
Over the years we have developed a range of products and solutions for these sites, including wireless remote generator disconnection devices and other unique offerings to ensure our clients systems can be located where optimum performance levels are reached.
