32 Kw – Extension to existing systems on FIT tariff

40 Kw HVM Battery – Additional savings to our client of £7,600.00 P/A

 SYMO Gen 24 10.0 Kw x 2

Previous clients IJ Preece and Son contacted us back in 2021 expressing their desire to add battery storage to two existing systems on their free range egg site at Wheathill Nr Ludlow Shropshire.

The original systems were both performing very well and were receiving healthy Feed In Tarrif returns under the former Government incentive, our client however was keen to explore harnessing the surplus exported power that was only attracting a low rate 7p (per Kwhr) on a private PPA arrangement.

An additional 15 Kw array of solar power was installed onto the building housing the existing panels installed in 2012, im order to feed the new Fronius hybrid battery inverter with DC power to charge the BYD Battery Box set.

Solar PV Battery Systems undertook exactly the same process on the upper poultry shed building increasing the capacity by a further 15 Kw.

We then installed 2 x 20 Kw BYD HVM energy storage systems to each of the existing buildings and ensured the inter connectivity of the new systems would not compromise or interefere with the existing Feed In Tariff arrangements.

The first 20 Kw BYD HVM Battery Box and Fronius Symo Gen 24 10.0 Kw inverter were installed internally at House 1 in a storage room facility at the site.

The second building to benefit from an extended array was House 1 at Wood Farm.

Our client being handed over and instructed on how to operate his new Energy storage system, whilst final checks were made by the team.
